Details:
Contemporary Instrumental music to enjoy life by. The first CD by liteblue is Peace & Rhythm, a collection of original music for both the quiet and active places in your life.

The music of liteblue is written, performed and recorded by Andrew Wulf.

This CD represents a milestone in my lifelong love of improvisation, as the entire CD was developed as a series of improvised bits of music. The tunes on the CD come in two flavors, one labeled Peace — 5 songs for relaxing to and Rhythm — 5 songs with a bit more movement.

Tranquility: A soprano sax over a foundation of harp, vibes and a glass harmonica. This is a very relaxing tune perfect for a moment of calm in a busy day.

Serenity: Four hands piano. A quiet tune with a few brighter moments, somewhat in the style of one of my favorite artists, George Winston.

Reverie: A piece for guitars, viola, harp, bass and shekere in the unusual time of 11/4. This was created during a time when I was unemployed and looking outside the window a lot.

A Wish For Kenneth: A type of modern ricercar for guitar, cello, violin, harp, trumpet, trombone and percussion. This tune was written to honor my Godson, who is challenged by juvenile diabetes.

Melancholy Skies: An ever-changing piece for various combinations of guitar, tambura, flute, harp, viola, and voices. Listen with caution, as this piece will pull all thoughts from your head, leaving you with a cleared mind.

Dance Of The Palms: This happy little caribbean dance is performed entirely on percussion instruments, namely doumbek, shekere, dunun, blocks, african hammers, marimbas, xylaphone, vibes and steel drums.

Cool World: A jazzy piece featuring guitars, flute, bass, doumbek, yamboo, bamboo sticks and agogo.

Weather Report: Another jazzy piece in the style of the Weather Channel''s local weather music, performed on guitar, cabasa, conga, castenets, bass and electric piano.

Quartetto: This unusual piece is performed on 4 guitars and percussion (djembe, shekere and claves).

Wellspring: A piece for guitars, harp, bass conga and 2 frame drums. An airy, quick moving tune.
