Australian singer / songwriter Bj caruana has done it all.... won ASA awards (Australian Songwriting Assosiation Awards) , recieved APRA nominations, had a major record deal, achieved double platinum sales for her work on Australian Idol Anthony Callea''s debut album and had one of the most played songs on Australian radio in 2002 with her single ''Dance all Night.''
But for those of you wondering, whatever happened to Bj Caruana??
Well wonder no more, Bj is back doing her bit to try and save the world.
The song is aptly named ''If I Could Change The World,'' a simple heart felt ballad. The lyrics question why we can''t share what we have? In these unpredictable times we really do need to look out for each other as you would your own family.
''Second Chance'' the B side song is by no means a B side song. It is a World music fusion written and perfomed by Paul Verma. This live recording is brilliant lyrically definately not to be skipped over.
Bj is releasing the single independantly under the banner of ''Lighthouse'' and donating 75% of the proceeds to Crossroads International. Crossroads are a charity who distribute relief goods to registered organisations, working with orphans, refugee''s, disaster victims, the handicapped and many others in need. They are at work in Asia, Europe, Africa
Central America and the Middle East.
''Lighthouse'' are a united force of musicians from Sweden, India, Serbia, France, England and https://www.tradebit.comy include the songwriters, the producers and the band. This"trans-national" production team has been working day and night to put this together in such a short amount of time.
The finished prduct will be launched in Hong Kong over November 2,3,4,&5, where Crossroads International will hold their 10 year anniversary celebrations. It is anticipated 4000 to 5000 people will attend over the 4 days.
Our goal is to sell 2000 Cd''s at the event and raise $ 15 000 for Crossroads International. Which will be our contribution to help "Change the World."
