...I was born with music in my head... Then, I transfered it to my hands. When I was 11 years old, my parents brought me back a beautiful, high-grade blonde Spanish gut-string guitar from Madrid. I immediately enrolled in the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music for Spanish/classical lessons, getting the rudiments. -- Then, I heard James Marshal Hendrix variously kicking and stroking off-world sounds out of his upside-down, reverse-strung Stratocaster. "Axis: Bold as Love" raised him to new heights, and then, in September 1968, his crowning self-produced double Masterpiece, "Electric Ladyland, debuted. That clinched it. My own style grew through -- in addition to other influences -- experimentation with exotic tunings and methods. I released an LP in the 80''s called "We''re All Ghosts From The Future" for which I received a lot of college radio play nationwide and a slew of great reviews in indie magazines and from DJs.
