"The band of the year" how could someone combine thrash, death , uplifting trance , nu-metal , progressive metal and record it in... well... listen to this.

2 MP3 Songs
METAL: Alternative Metal, METAL: Thrash/Speed Metal

Details:
The last 15 years have permited us to end up with the conclusion that
the metal music scene , does not seem to be having any complexes
concerning the integration of other music influenses ,such as : jazz
,oriental music ,industial rock, electro ambiences and opera. These
music styles are now part of the scene. Certain people were afraid of
it being a kind of scandal when iron maiden was using synthesizer
effects on their guitars,or queensryche, samples during live
concerts... these times are far behind.

In this race to "Fusion" , Frenizia attacks in a sort of way leaving
behind the longhaired metalhead mentality associating Metal to techno
music.I''m not talking here about rythmics that Oomph,Ramstein or
Clawfinger has, but about totaly crazy rythmics such as hardcore
techno or trance. It is obvious that extreme metal scenes and
electronic ones, are a bit the same in our days.

Frenizia is a band from Cyprus and leaves these kind of hesitations
in the closet. This solo project proposes two tracks available by
download. The first track is the one worthy of the first
mouse-click:"Frenizia" will not only please people that get together in fields and listen to hardcore electro stuff but also fans of
dark-metal,with growls making one with drum machine assaults and
hypnotic synthesizers moods. The second track "Eternal Question" is
composed in a more classic way but never the less has a lot of
ambience changes in its 4 minute duration. Recorded in a home studio
this first delivery proposes a production which is more than
honnest, even if the drum machine parts sometimes lack of fineness.
The whole recipe is to be refined but these two tracks have a lot to
promise. You should lend an ear on these two tracks and keep a sharp
eye on Frenizias'' future moves: there is something new goin on in
Cyprus !!! :)

Damn, these guys are just all over the board. From Electronica, to
metal, to death metal, to industrial to more that I probably don''t
know the category of! Every song sounds completely different and
not like the other. They are classifying themselves as digital
metal, which I very much agree with. One song sounds like death
metal with the digital sounds except for the vocals. Some vocals
sounds like James Hetfield, after the black album. Guitars sound
like Swedish metal sound or power metal. They all seem to have a
touch of 90''s dance music mixed in, like from Ah-Ha, Depeche Mode,
etc. Very different, very all over the place.
