The rap duo "2 Deep" are from Harriman, TN (Knoxville Area)

The members are Roy Clemmons aka Roy C & Marlon Eskridge aka Marty M.O.L.

They originally came together on a bet from Roy C's brother, Mel Clemmons.

He bet Marty Mal that he couldn't free-style better than Roy C.

Til this day, no one knows who beat who.

Then, Mel C got in contact with Jamil Hill aka DJ Big 6, one of the popular DJ's in the area, about doing some beats.

Big 6 had known them for years, but he "didn't know they had flow."(From the song "They Didn't Know").

The first song ever recorded was "Coming Up" originally done on the "One More Chance Remix" instrumental.

And the rest is history.

After recording 3 underground hits "Comin' Up", They Didn't Know", & "U Know U Did It" with Big 6, they recorded the original "Babygirl" with Lil' Reese. Being an independent artist himself, he allowed 2 Deep to collaborate on several records.

From there, Big 6 introduced 2 Deep to, 1996 & 2000 Olymipic metalist, Lawrence Johnson aka Lojo. Big 6 had meet him while attending The University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1992.

He produced the smash hit "Ridin' In My Cadllac". This song is getting major air-play on WKGN 1340 AM thanks to D-Nice & Tommyill aka (The Dynamic Duo) & Eternal (The Booth)

This CD is loaded with many radio friendly cuts.

One being "Baby Girl" This smooth colaboration between Big 6 on the drums & Lojo on the keyes is a hit in the making.

Also DJ Crayola brings versitility with a hint of the orient in "Shake It". This one is bound to play in the strip clubs.

Their first album is a great sign that they have the potenial to be major influencial rap artist.
