Bio of the Band 3-UP

The Band 3-UP was settled in June 2003 in Portland Oregon.
Member Tom Morris, of Sheridan Wyoming, travelled to Portland to asked his cousins Don & Larry Simmons if they would help him record "Mad Dog Motorcycle Legends" Album. Don an accomplished Bass player & Larry a world-class guitarist, agreed to throw their hats in the ring and give Tom's Music some juice. In mid-November of 2003 and 10 songs later, 3-UP called "Mad Dog" Motorcycle Legends a wrap.
Brothers, Don & Larry Simmons got started in music at the age of 10; both started playing guitar under the watchful eye of their dad, Portland Band Leader, Radio and TV. personality, Buddy Simmons. At the age of 14, Don and Larry began playing professionally in their family band. Don & Larry have been in the music business full-time ever since. Don began playing Bass Guitar at age 16 and has shared the stage with country greats as George Morgan, Lefty Frizzel, and Wanda Jackson. Larry toured for 6 years with Ray Stevens and has persettled with artist Ray Charles, Kenny Rogers, Tanya Tucker, and the Oak Ridge Boys. These guys are Pro's and perform to the max on this album. Tom, Don, & Larry love traveling and life on two wheels. 3-UP is heading back to Abracadabra studios in Ridgefield, Washington in the fall to begin their second album!
