TESTIMONIAL

Minister Charles Hyman grew up in a single parent home in Tarboro, North Carolina. At the age of 22 months, God called his mother to reach her final destiny of eternal life. His maternal grandmother raised him along with ten other siblings. The family was economically destitute but rich in faith, love, and hope.

Charles, the first and only child to further his education, graduated from North Carolina Central University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Music Education and Performance. While attending NCCU, he had many unanswered questions as he wrestled with his faith. At the end of his senior year, he watched as his friends affectionately loved their mothers and cried unto God and questioned Him as to why He took his mother. In the same instance as Charles asked the question, he felt and heard a calm, sobering, and mystical voice ask, "If your mother was living, would you have gone to college?"

Education was not stressed in his community. It was uncustomary to attend college. Once graduating from high school, young men would get a job to help supplement the bills. The voice went on to say, "Jesus is your mother. He''ll never leave you nor forsake you. You only have one Father and He''s in Heaven. There is work for you to do.” From this point on Minister Hyman knew he was not alone. He could rest in the arms of Christ. God refueled him and gave him strength to focus his efforts on kingdom building.

In 2003 Minister Hyman founded C-LUV Ministries. C-LUV Ministries nurtures the spiritual renewal and advancement of the saved and unsaved communities. It helps Christians apply God’s principles, overcome obstacles, and encourage individuals to develop and maintain a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
