Details:
Chesterfield Rock…dynamic, young, energetic and ready to take the music world by storm. With a passion for composition and a youthful enthusiasm, CFR continues to pursue their dreams of a career in the music industry. With a collection of over sixty original songs and a unique pop/rock sound the bands music appeals to both young and old alike.

Their first performance was in August 2004 and since then their accomplishments have been most noteworthy. In early 2005 CFR won the right to represent Saskatchewan in the National X''treme Band Slam at Canadian Music Week in Toronto where they competed against eleven top indie bands from across Canada. Some other highlights to date have been winning Supernova''s Regina Last Band Standing competition; sharing the stage with Wide Mouth Mason; opening for Juno nominated performer Brad Johner; performing on the main stage at the 2005 Canada Summer Games and attending the WCMA conference in Vancouver. The band has also been featured on Good Morning Canada; CHAB 800 AM Saskatchewan Spotlight; Magic 98.3 FM Saska-Tunes; Access Communications E-Clips; CJTR 91.3 FM Break the Silence and CBC Radio. In addition to this, their music has received frequent airplay on other Saskatchewan radio stations.

In February 2006 singer/songwriter Josh Giambattista, the creative force behind much of CFRs music, was selected as a Regional winner in the Canadian Music Week Radiostar contest. Winning this all expenses paid trip gave Josh the opportunity to perform at the International Songwriters Festival in Toronto as well as earning him an equipment prize package. Chesterfield Rock’s performance of the winning song ‘As The Story Goes’ has also been featured on the teen drama Renegade Press. (https://www.tradebit.com).

The bands first CD, ''all good things'' was recorded live in December of 2004 by Xen Gargatzidis (The Exchange in Regina) and working with renowned musician/producer David j. Taylor they released their first studio album, ''without wax'' in October 2005. With an ever-evolving sound and a love of recording the members have been diligently working to compose new material. These songs will be the basis for their new CD scheduled to be released in the fall of 2006. Funding for this latest recording was made possible through Rawlco Radio and their 10K20 Project.

Chesterfield Rock continues to develop musically and they look forward to a long and exciting journey...performing the music they write and love.
