James Stone: Biog:
James was born in Liverpool in 1955. He started his career in live performance as Tony Ricardo.
At first working with live bands for his performance in places such as Baileys and many trips abroad to Australia, Holland, South Africa, Norway and Ireland.
During the eighties he made numerous TV appearances and won his heat of ‘New Faces’ and ‘Search for a star’. It was during this time that James started to work with tracks and put his own backing tracks together.
Over the years James has built up his studio and diversified into many genres of song writing.
He has written and produced and 3 musicals (Wackywood 1 and 2, and ‘We’re gonna be famous’) for theatre production. He has also written and produced three educational songs for performance in schools throughout North Wales.
In 2005 James started his bespoke song writing company ‘Persongified’ This includes personal songs for individuals or company jingles and promotional material.
In the studio James plays piano, acoustic, electric and bass guitar. He also puts down all the vocals including backing vocals and, where needed, character voices.
James will tackle any project that is given to him, finding it all fascinating and any opportunity to expand his talent is welcome.
