In 1987 the wife and husband team JanetMarie & m''Archibald did several life altering things all at once---they had their first child, Devin, they got to work planning the birth of their second child, Donovan, they got a dog, bought a house, quit their day jobs at Michigan Opera Theatre and began writing, producing and performing Musical-Story-Theatre concerts for young children and their families throughout their home state of Michigan. (These are some multi-tasking little Muffins!)
Nineteen years, four recorded collections of original songs, and thousands and thousands of live performances later they are tickled pink to present this brand-new CD...JanetMarie & m''Archibald''s Family Album...their first recorded effort with a live accoustic backing band (and son Devin on very snazzy electric guitar!)
The songs range from the sweet and soothing, to the raucous and ridiculous...songs about favorite foods, naps (and what to do when you''re not sleepy), Bizercises (exercises for busy kids) and a "how to" song about homemade parades.
