CROSSWORD Q & A SESSION:

WHY IS IT CALLED CROSSWORD?
The message of the Cross... which is the
Word of God. It''s a play on words; The Cross
and the Word... Cross-Word! Written this way
the word "sword" comes out of the Cross.
It''s entirely fitting for the CD content.

WHY A SWORD?
The Word of God is spoken of as being sharper
than any two edged sword in the book of Hebrews
chapter 4 verse 12. When God shows up there is a
commotion of the elements and His word is powerful,
thus the lightning from heaven, surrounding this cross,
which is a sword plunged into the earth, changing the
outcome of man for good to all who believe. For those
who refuse to believe... the word also judges, and ends
all rebellion. The sword when thrust into the earth in
this way looks like a cross, and the lightning leaves
a shadow of the cross. We are living in the days after
the cross was thrust into the earth, thus the shadow
falling forward toward the viewer, which is today.
The power and work of the cross continues in us
today, and in the world, and will continue unto
the culmination of all things.

WHY THE CLOUDS, MOUNTAIN AND STEPS?
One of the forms God manifested through in
ancient times was in a cloud. By a pillar
of fire at night and by a cloud by day He
led the children of Isreal to the promised
land. Jesus ascended to heaven through clouds.
When he returns it is with clouds. The rain speaks
of the mighty outpouring of His Spirit today as spoken
of in the book of Joel in the Old Testament. (This
stuff is fascinating, one should truly look it up!)
The mountain is sybolic of our upward climb to God.
Once we enter into His Kingdom, (which is now by
faith, believing and receiving Jesus personally),
our faith and relationship with Him continues to grow;
we climb step by step, from faith to faith and from
glory to glory to developing into maturity in God
just as it is written in the Apostle Paul''s letter
to the church at Corinth, found in II Corinthians
chapter 3 verse 18. And just what is glory?
Well, that''s right doing or "doing righteousness"
before God that He puts His seal of approval on.
There are levels of knowledge of right doing and levels of His glory.

WHAT SWORD IS SHOWN IN THE GRAPHIC?

The sword here is a copyright free image of the sword of England''s King Richard the Lionhearted. The catagory of sword is called a claymore. WOW, I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST A COOL GRAPHIC! WHAT ELSE?

Plenty else. Let the Spirit of the Lord bring to the surface the meanings He is giving you through this illustration. He''s speaking to listening ears everywhere. "As it is written in the prophets, And they shall all be taught of God. Every man therefore that has heard, and has learned of the Father, comes to me," - Jesus. See John chapter 6 verse 45.

SO IT''S SCRIPTURAL MESSAGES ABOUT LIFE IN CHRIST
SET TO MUSIC? Right. Affirmative. You got it.

INTERESTING FACTS:

Did you know that according to the Hebrew wording and the term and how it is used, God didn''t merely speak "Let there be light" when He began creation? He actually SANG "Let there be..." in a musical sense! And isn''t there a scripture saying the stars sing back Him? We too are created in song from God! No wonder we praise Him!

At the end of the last supper, just before Jesus went
to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray and be betrayed
before His arrest and sacraficial death for us, He
and the 11 diciples SANG a hymn to God!

So the song continues...
