Details:
Composer/Conductor Jerry Grant has scored and supervised or conducted over 500 episodes of television film, contributing scoring to hit series including THE SECRET WORLD OF ALEX MACK, QUANTUM LEAP and HUNTER as well as the feature films HIRED TO KILL,THE NAKED TRUTH and IN THE COLD OF THE NIGHT.

Jerry began his career as a jazz/rock saxophonist in Detroit contributing to Motown tracks while composing and performing in the concert medium. In Los Angeles, as a studio musician on woodwinds, he began vocal, string and horn arranging for records as well as songwriting, landing a contract as songwriter with ABC Records. He organized, conducted and composed the library for the 12 pc. Jazz/Fusion group SPECTRUM, performing concerts in the Los Angeles area. A review in Variety called it "exciting, moody and pulsating, laced with dramatic images". The journey with SPECTRUM inspired a natural shift to television and film scoring which has kept him busy since. As a conductor, he has performed several musicals, conducts television and film scoring sessions and appeared as guest conductor with the Sun Valley Idaho Summer Symphony and UCLA Wind Ensemble.

Now he is back on the scene with new directions in alternative jazz. This CD is the result of his journey through jazz, pop, symphonic and television and film scoring to create exciting and dramatic music with energy from the heart and soul.
