Details:
A former Detroiter, New York based singer-songwriter Jeff Wave has released two solo recordings over the past few years on the independent label Zen Pop. "Songs For Working People," which received national radio play on college and alternative stations, charting with CMJ; and the recent 2000 release, "Sleeping Through A Millenium."
His music has been described as alternative folk, psychedelic, jazzy, groovy psuedo-pop. He has performed sporatically in lower east side clubs with obscure short-lived bands such as Strange Attractor, Wonderama, and leading his own various ensembles. In 1997 he accompanied Quentin Crisp in a version of "You Are My Sunshine," in a recording for the production of "Punk," by Detroit performance artist Patrick Burton. As a "singing host," he organized a series of shows at the Pink Pony. He also spent time demonstrating with the Noise Action Coalition in front of Arlene''s Grocery for their failure to pay bands.
Years before he ever decided to do so, Jeff said that Ralph Nader should run for President. He is happy that he''s had a candidate to vote for in the last two presidential elections. For more information please refer to https://www.tradebit.com.
