After listening to a lot of music over the years, this cd is an example of eclectic sounds. i am a big fan of Paul Weller''s songwriting style and Raphael Saadiq''s approach as a producer. The electric bass and electric guitar stand out on almost evry track. vocal harmonies really came together on "Flyy" and "Why You Here?" The groove on "Breakdown" almost makes you want to go to church. "You Won''t say" was definitely inspired by Prince during his For You and self titled album period.
