The album is a testimonial. It speaks of where I have come from and where I am going. I grew up in a challenging family situation like many young people; however I was determined to overcome the odds. Growing up I knew something was special about me but could not put my finger on it. I had a desire for change in my personal life and thus found myself looking for odd jobs to earn money at a young age. I knew the saying "hard work pays off," so I determined that I would work diligently to set a different standard of living.
Like many troubled youth today, educationally I experienced rough times from elementary to high school, because I did not know the long-term value of it. In addition, I did not have the right reinforcement in the home to maximize my full academic potential. I made average grades, and it was not until I reached the twelfth grade that I realized I "needed" more from my educational experience. As I entered into community college and then transferred to Florida State University, I begin to achieve and exceed above average in academic performance! This happen because I started to think about my long-term wellbeing and gaining an understanding that my education was a solid route to establish a different standard of living. Last but not least, I fully committed my life and all my plans to Jesus Christ! This is “COLLEGE GRADUATE!” The album tells my life story in fragments containing captivating lyrics and banging beats; it is guaranteed to “motivate” any listener!
