The CD features three string concerti; a flute concerto and an oboe concerto. The CD was recorded in the beautiful ballroom of Government House, Hobart Australia. It has beautiful acoustical properties thought in part to be due to the magnificant houn pine floor. Three sisters, all professional violinists feature in the concerti for two, and three violins. Their father was concert master of the Queensland Orchestra for many years and their mother is also a fine violinist. The girls regulary play for the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra (TSO) as do the other musicians on this CD. Lloyd Hudson, the flautist and oboe player, Dibah Woods, are integral members of the TSO.
