Details:
The New Dominion was founded in March 2006 and has its roots in Tilburg Holland. Initially the band played pure Scandinavian thrash. Nowadays they evolved to a more mature blend of death and thrashmetal. After releasing the promo: “…and black gleams the eye” in January 2007 they did a number of shows with international known artists like Nile, Six feet under, Behemoth and Finntroll. All these gigs resulted in a formidable live-act and eventually the band was picked up by Neurotic Records in May 2008.

This band performs fluently executed death/thrash metal, incorporating a wide array of influences from various genres. In the past year The New Dominon stormed over the dutch club scene in an insane tempo, leaving a trail of ashes and dust behind everywhere they went.” (Ruud from Neurotic Records)
Currently the debut album: “… and kindling deadly slumber” is being pressed and the release can be expected in March 2009. The result of these recordings will prove the great progress they have made. Their style can no longer be defined as “just” Gothenburg-thrash/death. However its roots can still be found in this particular style, it has more and more developed towards a unique blend of thrash and death metal with influences varying from Hypocrisy to Tool, from the Haunted to Cannibal Corpse and from Gojira to Slayer. Song structures have become increasingly more interesting and challenging for the listener, whereas the vocal parts have become more brutal and aggressive on one side and more intense and tantalising on the other.
