Ever since it was created in Paris in 2001, the Anches Hantées Quartet has never stopped asserting its wish to enlarge its own repertory, what -at last- gives this band the place it deserves among the chamber-music players.
Throughout the different festivals and concert halls where this band performs and thanks to their arrangers Bertrand Hainaut and Laurent Arandel, the Anches Hantées Quartet succeed in adapting and presenting pieces from various origins by offering new tones and different possibilities of expression while keeping the very spirit of these works. Their main musical action consists of giving concerts but they also take part in pedagogical actions, concerts for young audiences and master classes.
The Anches Hantées Quartet has just released a third disc recorded at the ’Fabrique MC11’ in Montreuil (Dvorà k’s "American Quartet", Bernstein, Puccini, Debussy…).
