The Old Line Regulars formed in the summer of 2008, reuniting long-time Howard County friends Steve Errera and Chris King, who began practicing with Westminster natives and fellow Towson University Alums, Bryan Bettis and Dave Jendras. The four-piece recognized their potential and, with the addition of Eric Navarro''s talent on Bass, The Regulars began writing songs, playing shows, recording music, and slaying bitches. In the winter of 2009, the band took a heavy hit as lead guitarist Steve Errera had succumbed to a chocolate milk addiction, forcing him into a downward spiral filled with Hershey’s Syrup, Law & Order reruns, and shame. After entering a six-week treatment facility in Omaha, Nebraska, Steve was able to kick his habit and find Jesus along the way. The band made a full recovery and continues to perform their original numbers and a few personalized covers, too.
Each member of the band brings a different musical background to the table, ranging from Jam Rock to Alternative Country to Hip-Hop. The Old Line Regulars base their music on the 90s Alternative they grew up with and the Classic Rock they love so dearly. This fusion of the two genres has helped The Regulars cultivate a unique sound that feels familiar to the listeners; they have been blessed to share the stage with some of the best bands in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area and open for national touring acts, such as Truth & Salvage Co. (The Black Crowes Tour/Bonnaroo). Their goals for 2010 include a Mid-Atlantic Tour and the release of their debut self-titled album.
