Details:
The title for this project came from the children’s spiced-up version of “He Keeps Me Singing” and is very appropriate for this season in our lives. There are thirteen of us now—sometimes living in a bus on the road with little more than elbow room between us. Some of the children are getting older and pondering what lies ahead in life for them while at the same time in history, we’ve added a newborn to the mix. Life in the Lindsey house is very complicated and yet very simple at the core. It’s the knowledge and faith in the Savior’s love and grace that keeps us singing as we go.

Our prayer for you is that the songs on this album bring a melody to your heart, a smile to your face and peace to your spirit.

May Jesus keep you singing as you go!

May 9, 2010

We would like to dedicate this album to the memory of Kenneth Franklin Taylor, Tammy’s father, who left this life on January 30, 2010. He loved the song “If I Knew of a Land” and the children sang it at his funeral service. What peace there is in knowing that he knows that land well now and is rejoicing with the Lord forever!

We are grateful to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for giving us the songs we sing. And...

Thanks To Grandpa Lindsey for his part in “Standing on the Promises,” a song that his grandfather used to sing. Thanks for the heritage and for helping Alan to realize a part of his vision for his family—connecting his great grandchildren to his great grandfather. We’re glad that you are part of our lives and our music;

Thanks To Matt Munsey for his friendship, the laughter during late nights in the studio, and for all of the professional insight and counsel. Thanks, too, for the fantastic job of mixing and mastering this project;

Thanks To Barry Scott for his guest piano track on “If I knew of a Land.” Thanks for being part of this project and for your encouragement and friendship!

Special Thanks To Mr. Ronald Matney and family, and all the folks at Matney Diesel in Greensburg, KY. Truly, God gave us you. If He hadn''t, our bus would be sitting on the side of the road somewhere. Seriously, y''all ain''t right... there''s no way to outgive you. But we''ll keep trying!

Many Thanks... To the many who support our family and this music we bring, on and off the road. We couldn’t do what we do without you and we want you to know how much you bless us.
