We are Bali Kirtan. We are bringing to you our very first album that has been inspired, produced, and recorded in the depths of Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. It was because of the book Eat, Pray, Love that we landed in Bali 3 years ago. We are thankful that we have this opportunity to share our music and ancient Indian Mantra''s with the world.
Punnu Wasu comes from Hyderabad, India where he started studying Mantra''s at the age of 5 years old. It has been a generational gift which he inherited from his father. Punnu Wasu is a master of Vocals, Harmonium, Mandolin, and Tabla''s.
Harmony comes from Bessemer, Michigan, USA where she studied hair in NYC and practiced for 15 years globally. She had a life directional change which brought her to singing and living in Ubud, Bali with her beloved Punnu Wasu. It is her great pleasure to release this first album, Bhakti Child.
