This CD gives you 10 years Drain-Life, songs we''ve been playing for about ten years with a bunch of new song combined.
We''ve been existing now for 13 years and we are still very motivated and driven in what we do, and we are already in the process of writing a new album which will be more focussed and harder than ever.
However on this album you can hear various influences by mainly Merauder and Slayer
although you can also hear some influences by Crawlspace and the early H8000 scene
We just always write what we like and it always consists of metal with an hardcore edge.
Lyrically it''s somewhere between Crowbar, Shining (SW), Blood for Blood and Joy Division...yes very depressive
although there are enough songs with an positive message.
Personal issues combined with a positive undertone and the criticism on society''
that about sums it up.
We underwent a whole bunch of struggles to make this record happen but it was worth it
many ex band members helped, in one way or the other, to make this work
