Burak Ozmucur’s interest in music started really early in his life. Growing up in a musically talented family, he was very interested in learning the piano in 2002. After playing the piano for about three years, he began interest in learning the guitar so he taught himself with the knowledge and techniques from the piano lessons. After forming a band in Radnor, Pennsylvania, and playing many shows in his high school, he began interest in self-songwriting. Although playing covers and learning songs are a fun time, Burak felt that there was a different emotion or feeling of writing an original song. He felt that music was a great way to express any certain of emotion or passion. After getting positive response from friends and on internet sites like Facebook ,Myspace, and Youtube for the acoustic track “The Last Hope”, Burak was really motivated on writing more songs towards that direction. The final result became a 40-minute acoustic record called “A New Beginning”. The reason for that title was because Burak felt that after the summer of 2010, he was now opening a new chapter in his life both personally and musically. Burak still resides at Radnor, Pennsylvania and hopes to release another album next year.
