As a child I didn't have many things to give me hope or help me believe in myself. When I found music it made me feel good about myself and helped to me to understand my place in the world, it made me complete. As I grew older I felt I could express and share who I was through the very art that helped me grow.
I am motivated by the knowledge that music touches people in ways nothing else can. I make music for myself, as well as for others with the hope that we find ourselves in this world that we live. Also with the goal to help the listener feel good about who they are and where they came from. I hope to help them understand they are not alone. I also hope to open peoples eyes to the pain one person can cause. If I can do that, my dream will be fulfilled.
I worked on this album for well over a year and a half. I started seriously writing lyrics with the thought process that I was going to make this album around June of 2000. I then started arranging the music at the beginning of October 2000. I started recording the vocals in June of 2001. I mixed the album well into the middle of September 2001. Throughout that time I worked on the albums' art, pictures and design as well as all the legal aspects of the release.
When it comes to influences in my music the spectrum is Extremely Vast. Ranging from genres such as Rock, Pop, R&B, Adult Contemporary, Dance, Folk, as well as Alternative, Techno/House, New Age and Blues. The most important and regardless of any and all industry labels my goal is to make: for myself and the fans (Great Heartfelt and Honest Music).
