Depth of Field is the world''s first CD completely dedicated to the rare cross-strung harp, a marvelous instrument with its roots in 16th century Spain and in 19th century France. This recording presents a huge variety of music to display the possibilities of this rare type of harp: ragtime, classical, traditional Celtic, medieval, and numerous contemporary styles are all included in outstanding performances by one of the world''s foremost cross-strung performers. This is pure acoustic music - this album was mastered without any sound processing (no reverb at all!) to provide an excellent sonic picture of the instrument as it sounds in live performance.
