Hi-fi Sushi sporned when two djs in their own right ended up billing at Jerseys'' only serious dance venue, Madisons. Justin was holding a 3 year residency on the Sat night whilst Colin Moore was promoting, djing and producing under the moniker Kerphunk who are signed to Concept Music. They both found that they had a mutual interest in House music. After having dinner with Tim Deluxe before he was due to play Madisons, the idea was forged that they should hook up and start promoting in their own right which was a little bit more diverse to what they were presently doing. So was formed ''Hi-fi Sushi'' the night which then began to gain recognition as a serious US House and Garage/Breaks outfit which have been employed to play on all major line-ups and events on and off the Island. Between Colin & Justin, they have played dates on the Cream UK Tour, Gatecrasher Tour, Miss Moneypennies Tour. Supported numerous people such as the Propellorheads, Carl Cox, ATFC, Dj Dexter (Avalanches), Freestylers, Alistair Whitehead, Stanton Warriors, Tom Wainwright plus have played major festivals such as V99, Glastonbury, Reading and around the world in continents such as Europe, Australia and USA. After endlessly working at the dj circuit it was inevitable that the boys were bound to end up in the studio, making it instead of breaking it. Since then the boys have been extremely busy getting thier next three Tracks imediatley signed up to Real Jersey Records a small independant record company Based in their hometown of jersey. The new material is quite a mixture of genres with a sweet liquid drum and bass track called "So High" written with dj spim and a down beat number along the 07 vibe both track are availiable early july through eat ya wigwam records. Currently they are working on other material, embarking on remix work and starting there oen record label "Eat Ya WigWam Records" which aims to be up and running by june 2006 watch this space for downloads
