Details:
Alalie Lilt play frail singer-songwriter-songs in a full band setting.
Lyricwise songwriter Clara uses everyday-life banalities to discuss human perception and language as its tool of transport, talking politics between the lines. „The great advantage of music is that it is - unlike words and language - capable of expressing simultaneity", says singer/songwriter Clara.

Musicwise the band serves itself from the rich smorgasbord of musical history, and traverses traditional musical borders: "they combine French, Arab and Latin American accents with English-language songs. Over the usual tones of guitar pop, you will hear a violin, an accordion and a transverse flute, all working together to emphasize Clara´s honest voice and words." (Church of Girl).

Their latest record "what is gone doesn't necessarily disappear" discusses questions of self determination (How I learned to disappear, Firm Ground), time (Zur Zeit), growing old (Coming Along), the finitude of friendships (All we can't bend), the similarities between being in love and epistemology (Matter of walls), heteronormativity (Beautiful Women), and less complex things as being in love (Harvest Moon) and the adventures of Lilly, Clara's childhood friend (Lilly).
