DAVID BRADSTREET - “I have always been fascinated with the relationship between music and mathematics. While studying architecture at college, I discovered the universal idea of the Golden Mean and how pervasive it is in nature and in human designs. My discovery of this relationship to harmonic structure changed the way I thought about my own music. My fascination with the correlation of mathematics and music, led me to researching sonic entrainment which spawned the creation of the Music For Your Health series of CDs for Solitudes®. These projects were so successful, as attested by the many emails from around the world, that I wanted to create a new company that would serve this idea exclusively. David Bradstreet has been a working musician for over thirty-five years. Widely known for his work as a composer, songwriter and vocalist - eighteen albums bearing his name - a high profile Juno Award early in his career - subsequent Juno nominations and music credits including film and television soundtracks and scoring, talent discovery, and record production for a variety of artists. He has toured extensively as a singer/songwriter; one of his songs (''Renaissance'') became a standard through a hit version by Valdy; he recorded with A&M, which led to the Juno for Best New Male Vocalist 1977. He was co-producer of the CD compilation, “Tears of a Thousand Years”, a benefit project for Sept 11th. He has also co-produced with Nancy Simmonds a new CD of Colleen Peterson songs, "Postcards from California" - officially released on June 8, 2005 at Hugh''s Room in Toronto with help from a star-studded line-up of singers and musicians.
He has created music for films, including the short Collateral Damage , which received a Genie nomination, as well as the excellent TSN tele-documentary on sports, For the Love of the Game , which garnered for him a Gemini Nomination. He produced a series of instrumental albums with noted nature recordist Dan Gibson which has led to three other Juno Nominations in the Best Instrumental Album category. British Airways created a channel on all of its airplanes featuring David''s relaxation music exclusively. "Natural Stress Relief" achieved Platinum status in 2002 and "Natural Sleep Inducement" has achieved Gold.
"Lifelines" is his newest song CD. "TheraSleep" & "TheraCalm" are his newest therapeutic CDs.
