Rewind your minds back to 1996. A fresh and eager Tim Vann heads to Uni to further his studies in the art of film-making. Surrounded by a mass of creative and like-minded people, he sets out to recruit members for his first original band. Upon approaching a noticeboard, ready to put up a band member ad, he discovers that an already formed band requires a new guitarist and drummer. A quick phonecall, and his dreams of rock stardom became reality... well almost. What began as a lesson in guitar for songwriting and musicianship, evolved with the pairing of voice as this newly found instrument was brought to life. Something had to be done. These songs needed the inclusion of bass and drums. 2006, Enter Dave Robb, the drummer who also replied to the add in 96. Nothing can replace the chemistry and intuition of 10 years of playing together. Needless to say there was not much convincing required. A leap of faith that was never in doubt, was in the nurturing of long time friend Steve Reid into the role of Bassist. A few months of hard work in the rehearsal studio was needed. With the groove locked in and muse at an all time high, the album was made at Vanishing Wilds Studios in Melbourne with the production/sound engineering and musical expertise of David Rogers.
