Details:
The Leviticus Singers of Charlotte was birth from the 1999 Deliverance Minister Founders & Leadership Conference where Elder Don Abrams is Founder and Pastor. The Lord gave Pastor Abrams the vision to have voices come together to glorify God from around the community and abroad. Through prayer, he asked brother Steven Dalton to direct the conference choir. Being obedient, he accepted the charge. At the end of the 2002 conference, the Lord gave Steven a vision to form a group. He name the group “LEVITICUS” . Leviticus was not just a vision but a manifestation of many things that been prophesied to Steven. In the ladder part of 2003, the Lord changed the group’s name from Leviticus to the Leviticus Singers of Charlotte and the MINISTRY was born!

The Lord has blessed LSOC to have anointed singers and musicians to minister to His people. LSOC has ministered both throughout North and South Carolina, all the way to the northern states of New Jersey and New York. LSOC believes in ministering beyond the church doors. Their ministry has touched the souls and warmed the hearts of the elderly at the local nursing homes. The Lord has also blessed the ministry to have other extensions such Fitzgerald’s School of Music and 1body2build Personal Fitness with Lisa.

The Lord has placed LSOC under the anointed leadership of Steven F. Dalton, whom was called into the music ministry at the age of 5. The late J.O. Patterson, Presiding Bishop of the Churches of God in Christ prophesied into the life of young Steven in the winter of November 1985. His prayer was that God would use him in the music ministry to reach His people through song. At the age of 11, Steven was appointed conductor of the J. Howard Sherman Orchestra and at 17, Steven became a member of the J.O. Patterson National Orchestra for the Church of God in Christ International under the direction of Saxophonist Vernard Johnson. At the age of 20, he was appointed Minister of Music for Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ where he served faithfully under the leadership of the late Bishop J.H. Sherman and the present prelate Bishop C.E. Anderson until the fall of 2002.

Over the last 20 years the Lord has blessed Steven to be a skilled pianist, saxophonist, flutiest, drummer and musical direction. The enemy has tried to stop the vision but Romans 8:31 says, “If God be for us, who can be against us.” To God be the glory! As the vision continues to unfold, LSOC asks that you stay prayerful that the vision remains before Him at all times. Keep your eyes and ears opened for the Leviticus Singers of Charlotte.
