MP3 Ryan Sheeler - Prayers and Promises
instrumental selections in the style of Jim Brickman, Dan Fogelberg etc. Combines pop, classical, jazz, and folk influences with Gospel
10 MP3 Songs
GOSPEL: Traditional Gospel, EASY LISTENING: Mood Music
Prayers and Promises brings together Gospel, blues, jazz, folk, country, classical, and pop in 10 instrumental tracks for a smooth and satisfying listening experience. From the jazz-tinged "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" and the blues of "Watchman''s Prayer" to the quiet reflection of "A Soldier''s Homecoming" and "Country Morning Blue" this CD is sure to be a pleasant surprise for your listening palette.
This CD is a long time coming (more than 10 years, really), and the Lord brought a number of circumstances together so that this CD project might have come to fruition.
What about the title "Prayers and Promises"? It was a title and a concept that hit me out of the blue, when I was thinking of putting this project together. God in His infinite grace has been starting to grow in me a love for prayer and a heart for people. Through Christ''s sacrifice, I''ve come to know a life I never knew existed. As Dottie Rambo''s old song says "He looked beyond my fault and saw my need".
Many thanks to everyone involved with this project, in particular my family and friends at First Evangelical Free Church in Ames IA.
Be blessed, Ryan
