Details:
Robert W. Temple, III aka Young Trip, was born in Flatbush, Brooklyn on June 11, 1989. Young Trip comes from a musical family. He is the latest member of the Temple Dynasty. His father is the legendary hit producer, Rob “Da Noize” Temple. Da Noize is the producer and co-writer of the #1 dance hit, “Fly,” by 280 West Featuring his uncle, Diamond Temple. Young Trip is the brother to Bad Boy Entertainment platinum producer, Garrett Blake, who wrote and produced for Carl Thomas, Mista, and Total.
Young Trip at an early age was intrigued by music. At age 6, he began to demonstrate his interest in keyboards. While his father created music, Young Trip sat with him for many hours. Recognizing his interest in music he was allowed blocks of time at the keyboards and by the time Young Trip was 8, he played keyboard melodies, learned to program sequencers, and eventually made his own little beats.
At 10, Young Trip’s talent became more evident when he did his first rap tune entitled, “Traitors.” His musicianship also became very noticeable – playing intros and motifs, until one day he created his first hip-hop track entitled, “Stay Focused.” From that moment on, Young Trip was destined to be in the league of today’s greatest hip-hop artists.
Young Trip has over 400 tracks in his catalogue. He writes his own lyrics, and creates his own music tracks from start to finish. He has submitted tracks to up and coming hip-hop artists such as, Sage with a track entitled, “In My Hood,” as well as to other various major artistic leaders in the hip-hop industry, namely Kanye West, Common, Dr. Dre, and Jermaine Dupree, just to name a few. Slick lyrics embodying full thick bass lines, layered drum kit and melodic keyboard overtones describe the urban musical experience delivered by Young Trip. He accomplishes this with little to no sampling. To contact Young Trip, his website is: https://www.tradebit.com
Young Trip is currently featured in the Fall 2006 issue of I. B. Concept Magazine and also composed the theme music on the magazine’s website (https://www.tradebit.com).
Young Trips’ talent does not stop there; he is an alumni of Weist Baron Acting School and auditioned for featured films, namely, “Monster’s Ball,” “Changing Lanes” and a TV sitcom, “Ed.” He landed a part in the film for HBO, “A Walk In The Dark.”
Young Trip, a musical prodigy, is well rounded, and his talent has the potential for endurance in this ever-changing industry.
