Details:
Eleven Eleven Orchestra is a Jazz Fusion trio comprised of guitarist Dann Glenn, fretless bassist Baba Elefante, and drummer Ronnie Ciago. Dann''s longtime friend, Jazz bass legend Jeff Berlin, makes a very special guest apperance on the opening track, "Duality To Oneness."

True Jazz is completely improvised, while Fusion is a melding of different styles; quite often rock music. 11:11 Orchestra personifies these words to the letter, with seven no-holds-barred performances.

Guitarist/Composer Dann Glenn has spent the past three decades pushing the envelop in terms of artistic expression. His gift for orchestral composition has been rivaled only by his penchant for Jazz Fusion improvisation. Somehow, he has been able to live in both worlds quite comfortably; the consummate Gemini. DG walks the walk, in his quest to use little or no linear thinking when creating his Art. No one really knows what to expect when Dann Glenn plugs in...but for the fact that it will be a superlative performance, of original ideas and jaw-dropping playing.

On the opening track "Duality To Oneness," DG''s lifelong friend and legend of the electric bass, Jeff Berlin, turns in what might be his greatest recorded rubato performance. Always breaking new musical ground, Mr. Berlin once again sheds new light, on what it is to experience the fretted electric bass at the highest level.

Also a longtime friend of Dann''s, fretless wonder Baba Elefante plays brilliantly while drenching the low end with his eloquent use of time and note choice, and soaring like an eagle with his masterful and passionate solos. Baba''s deep commitment to Jazz shines brightly on this record, and he plays like no other.

Renowned drummer Ronnie Ciago met Dann through their common friendships with Baba Elefante, and the late-great Jaco Pastorius, resulting in a wonderful musical alliance of kindred spirits. Ronnie started playing drums at the tender age of five and never looked back. Growing up in New York he had the opportunity to study under Narada Michael Walden, Carmine Appice, Jim Chapin, Peter Haywood and Al Miller. Ronnie''s career has put him in the drum chair, for too many artists to mention in full. Some of the greats he has recorded and toured with are Bill Ward (Black Sabbath), Brand X, Mick Taylor (The Rolling Stones), Rickie Lee Jones, Riverdogs, Reeves Gabrels (David Bowie) and Patrick Moraz.

This maiden voyage for the Eleven Eleven Orchestra promises to be the first...of many more yet to come.
