In the middle of October 2010, I decided, “I’m gonna’ make some art today.” One day led into another until (strangely enough) I found myself recording Christmas music. For years, my wife had been encouraging me to make such a record, but I saw no need. There’s more than enough Christmas music to go around, with only a small window for it to be really listened to. While that is mostly true, my hope is that I made a quality contribution to that pool, and that these songs, about a child born into a context of such anticipation, find you and move you toward the things of Christmas.
