ALLISTER COVE is Oden Raig's musical outlet. Oden is a singer/songwriter who plays most of the guitars on his "Be My Valentine" CD-single. Originally from Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Oden
has now lived in Orange County since the 80's. Spending most of his years playing sports in high school and college, Oden didn't take music seriously up to two major knee surgeries put a halt to
his love of playing basketball. By the early 90's Oden was looking for a band and finally started his own called SEVIL DOG where he wrote some of the songs and played rhythm guitar. The band was a cross between Guns 'N Roses and Metallica and lasted about
a year and a half.
In 2001 Oden decided to return from his long layoff and while looking to start a new band the events of 9/11 occurred from which Oden wrote "THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL" and recorded it for his first CD-single. But with few connections and resources the CD took around 6 months to complete and too late for raising money for the victims.
Since that time Oden has been spending time writing new songs, screenplays, and working on various ideas. Still without a band he recorded the BE MY VALENTINE CD-single and hopes that this year will be the year he finally breaks through and finds the right people to create awesome music with for years to come. Afterall,
2004 was his best songwriting year yet so it's only getting better.
