My first album is a show of how much I love to feel and sing the music. "I''m Done " , my first song to have co-written and published, is about being done with my ex-boyfriends games. "She Loves America" touches on a solider family''s point of view and the sacrifices they make. "Livin is Good" sets the whole tone of the CD. How the simple things in life are the most important things and not so much the monetary items. "Shirley" discusses the loss of a child from the mother''s point of view. All the songs have a place in my heart.
I started this project over 6 years ago and this has been a journey. I want my music to appeal to a diverse group of people. One comment I keep hearing is "I''m not into Country music, but I really like yours". That has to be the best compliment an artist can receive.
