This album is our first full length release. It was produced in Nashville, Tennessee at Leaning Tower studios, an independent recording studio. While recording this, the band became more solid not only in playing and live performance, they stabilized their membership and look.
Several things happened during the production of this CD. White Pompous Gods had been approached by a potential sponsor for the groups funding of live shows and recordings. They were offered $100, 000 to begin working on their project. After the deal was in place and ready to be signed, the man with the funds decided that the band would go over much better with a female singer, coincidentally he had one on hand. His wife. After this strange turn of events, WPG was then offered sponsorship by a supposed record company executive who was later determined to be an undercover CIA operative, and later still, simply diagnosed as crazy. The band was promised $250,000 this time, for new gear and upgrades to touring equipment as well as other items for promotion and distribution. She passed the demo of this CD to another undercover CIA operative, who was also the head of the organization funding the making of the CD and promotions of the group. The day he received the CD and listened to it for approval of funding, he was allegedly found dead in his apartment in Dallas, Texas.
Despite these strange events, White Pompous Gods prevailed and released the CD on their own. With NO sponsors. What you now look at is the result of a LOT of hard work and the ALLEGED deaths of several people in the counter intelligence agencies of this great country.
