Beaver Creek Band-We played the Oxtail, the Town Crier and the Shadows in San Antonio to packed houses. We were visited by many artists and celebrities, like Coach Darrel Royal, Moe Bandie, Charlie Daniels, Sammy Smith, the Haggar twins from Hee Haw and Noolie from Gunsmoke. During this period we played as many as five nights a week. Our band evolved and had many members including, Jimmy Rose on drums, Cam King on guitar, Bear Middleton on guitar, Jimmy Fuller just to name a few. Our band has gone from two to seven and back to two again. Currently we have finished a new CD of our original material. Two of the songs were recorded at Alan Voight''s Band Camp Studio New Braunfels. It is called Patsy and Bubba Brown, Songs of Beaver Creek. This was a long time coming and we were proud to record at Willie Nelson''s World Headquarters. Luck Tx.. The untimeley death of our friend, artist-musician David Zettner left us without a producer. Matt Hubbard from Austin stepped in as engineer and producer, we were blessed to have him. We hope everyone will enjoy the simplicity and the love that we felt doing this very special project. Musicians, including John Santos, Ron Knuth, Michael Oconnor, Augie Meyers, Matt Hubbard, Clay Meyers, B. B. Morse, Mario Matteoli, Bill Middlleton, Keith Carper and Pedro Hernandez grace this recording. We are hoping to keep moving along as we prepare to do the next one, Lord willin. When you are blessed with talent it is not to be wasted.
