Getting married and entering the work force for the first time also had major influences on Blake.
Steps of Grace attempts to convey some of the highs and lows of this period through it''s polarized sounds and atmosphere. Tracks such as Bankrupt were created during a period where Blake was without any money. Jam Head was created using some of the sounds from Blake''s time as a Sheet Metal Fabricator.
