Guitarist Russ Brannon, keyboardist Billy Shields and producer/multi-instrumentalist Preston Glass were gigging together at a jazz club in Sarasota, Florida, and came up with a plan… a really profound idea to form a new group and release a Smooth Jazz album. Thus Three Deep and their debut, COMMON GROUND were born.
