The band is based in north bay area, CA, and headed by Mingo Lewis. Mingo is one the top percussionists in the world today, and has played with some of the most important artists of this century. Santana/Return to Forever/The Tubes/Todd Rundgren/James Brown/Miles Davis/Brain Eno/David Byrne/Al Di Meola and many others. Mingo has been recorded on over 175 albums and CD’s, both gold and platinum, also as a solo artist CBS Records (Mingo’s Flight Never Ending). Mingo is endorsed by the top drum companies in the world: D/W, Remo, Paiste, Gon Bop, and Motherland Percussion. Born and raised in New York, Mingo started playing at the age of 6. His first performances were at the Apollo in New York with Otis Redding, James Brown, and King Curtis. At age 15, Mingo joined Santana to become one of the worlds top conga players and drummers known even to this day.

-Karissa Gallo (electronic percussion /keyboards/ flute/vocals). Karissa is a songwriter and graphic artist, born in Boulder, Colorado. Karissa has been playing music for most of her life and has studied jazz and world music. She is the youngest member of the group, but by far one of incredible talent and musical ideas. Karissa has her own voice in music, able to change directions musically from jazz to hip-hop; what Karissa brings to the band is a new approach to the world of ethno-electronica.
