Rick Trice has written over 200 songs spanning the past 40 years; an exercise that may have originally begun as "therapy," encompassing themes of joy and disappointment, love and frustrations, victories and defeats. But what originated as private musings grew into the realization that others seemed to want to hear the songs, because they seemed to speak to some common experiences within us all. After all, isn''t that what music does the best? Rick''s style is founded on syncopated acoustic and electric guitars.
