Since the mid 90’s Eamonn Dowd has fronted The Racketeers as they''ve brought
their fiery brand of americana to audiences throughout Europe, releasing six
albums along the way. In recent years Eamonn has also toured solo
throughout Germany, Scandinavia, Belgium, The Netherlands, east coast USA and Canada.

After years of self-releasing material, Silver & Dust (2006) came out on German
indie label Cannery Row Records as did the follow up - Mansions Of Gold (2009) which was
produced by Les Keye who also plays bass. Longtime associate, Chris Teusner is on drums.

As Hot Press magazine said "There’s something raw and real about The Racketeers
that’s easy to love."
