Larry Spooner is a native of Miami, Florida who now writes sings and plays
From a wheelchair. He started writing, singing and playing in 1996 while attending college at Santa Fe Community in Gainesville, Florida. There he learned about music composition and writing while taking an advance guitar class in his graduation year. Larry’s songs just come to him usually the title or the chorus or sometimes the melody first then the words or vice versa. He has always been inspired by artists such as Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young. He first recorded with The Dave Riccio Band in 2004 with a song he wrote in 2002, “Many Roads I’ve Traveled. He is currently working on another CD with a new group of artist soon to be out for sale in 2011.
