Disidente is one of the most unlikely success stories of underground spanish rock. Assembling in the late 90''s, in the city of Guadalajara, in México. Disidente comprises a four piece lineup. Playing loud and heavy guitars with emotional melodies. Disidente''s songs are a mix of post punk attitude and sensibility with a sharp sense of rock songwriting. The group first started by playing in the nearby México club scene eventually enjoying a stable and enthusiastic response from their audiences. They''ve toured extensively, both as a headlining and opening acts for bands such as Smashing Pumpkins, Incubus, The Bravery, The Sounds and Stone Temple Pilots ( just to name a few). After four years of touring Disidente release their much anticipated debut album "Y si tuviera disquera" (if i had a record label). The resulting tour was documented in a concert DVD, LIVE, 2005. Three years later the more elaborated album ¨Judas¨ appeared. In many ways sounds different than it´s predecessor. Constant touring to support the album kept the band busy until mid 2009 when they recorded ¨Lobo¨, a six songs EP, comes as somewhat of a surprise. Not quite as catchy as before but the band compensates by delivering them with brutal confidence and energy. One year later the band announced the coming of their Third album.
