Jeth Rollins Odom''s musical career has taken him to several different destinations, in various guises as a studio musician, broadcast radio DJ, composer, critic, and published songwriter.
In the 90s, he played guitar in various Seattle rock outfits performing with legendary American acts like Dick Dale, X, Presidents of the USA, and the Reverend Horton Heat. As the co-founder and Audio Director of San Francisco-based dFORM and through private consulting, he has worked with clients like MSNBC and Conversational Computing on 3D sound design and web-based speech synthesis, and created the VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) Audio Tutorial.
In 2002, The Absence of Theory, a CD of his computer works based on studies created at Les Ateliers UPIC, was released on his own label, Sonority. His work has been performed at the Festival de Música Electroacústica Primavera en La Habana. He currently plays guitar in the experimental band Guardian Ear.
Odom lives and works in Seattle, Washington.
