Details:
Amos P. Saint Jean is an exceptional composer and producer as well as an accomplished musician. Born in Brooklyn, NY on September 4th, 1979, Amos was predestined to follow the footsteps of his father, Amos Saint Jean Sr., who began teaching him the fundamentals of music theory at the age of 6. This was an awesome introduction for him to the world of classical music. For the next several years he continued to enhance his piano skills, but was then introduced to contemporary jazz & traditional church music.

While in the 8th grade, Amos auditioned as a outspokenist at the Florelli LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts in New York City. He was later accepted, but surprisingly in 1993, his family had to relocate to Orlando, FL, where he attended Maynard Evans High School. While attending, he participated in the school's gospel choir where he later became Musical Director. After graduating high school in 1997, he matriculated as an Electrical Engineer student at the University of Central Florida; where he also joined the music staff of the university's gospel choir.

In 1999, Amos' life and focus took a major turn when he experienced the loss of mother, Altagracia Saint Jean. Although difficult, this experience challenged him to focus on what God called and purposed him to do. After a season of praying and seeking direction from God, in 2000, Amos relocated on his own to Atlanta, GA to serve as Director of Music at Turner Chapel AME Church. While serving there he was able to host and facilitate a city-wide music conference featuring Stella Award winning artist, Byron Cage.

In 2003, Amos transitioned to Baltimore, MD to serve as Musical Director for the Empowerment Temple AME Church, where Dr. Jamal Harrison Bryant is Pastor. Since the transition, he has been able to work with national recording artists such as, Kim Burell, Donnie McKlurkin, Mary Mary, Lacresia Campbell, Jonathan Nelson and many more.

Amos focuses totally on God's will for his life. His hearts desire is to reach out and influence nations through his music ministry. He believes that through worship, prayer, and diligence, God will honor his heart's desire.
