Details:
Their history takes too many twists and turns to be covered here. What matters is that Coccaro brothers, Carl Almasy on vocals and Rich on guitar, have always had a knack for writing great music. Growing up on a regimen of mostly UK influences, the brothers were inspired to mold a sound that reflected their childhood heroes like U2, the Church, James, the Trashcan Sinatras and Blur. So, It''s no surprise that their songwriting style sounds fresh amidst the proliferation of the traditional American rock quartet.

Their first release, Social Pretenders, was a prelude to their signature sound which would be fully captured on their second effort, Soho. With this release, the group found their niche by crafting infectious tunes that turned heads of avid music fans at every venue they played. With comparisons everywhere from Echo and the Bunnymen to Oasis, the group realized they had something at work here.

With the group now writing enough music to debut one or two new songs at each show, they felt it necessary to release an EP, Under a Spell, to showcase some of the new material. The EP sold quickly and was re-pressed (and ultimately re-released) before realizing they had been playing enough new material in their live shows to fill 2 more records.

With their new release, Polite Gothic, the band remains close to their original sound but takes songwriting to the next level. From the ironic thrashing of "Sell Out", to the sublime stalker "Polite Gothic", this record reflects a myriad of emotions, styles and themes that stay fresh to the ears listen after listen.

With Travis Rosen on bass and Zack Eldridge on drums, Nothing Rhymes With Orange crafts a sound that is both streamlined and full of melody that rings long after the closing note. This quartet plays live everywhere they can. Their cross-over appeal has garnered the group bills supporting contemporary heavyweights such as John Mayer, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Sugar Ray to cutting-edge modernists like the Raveonettes and Doves; converting unsuspecting listeners into loyal fans.
