Our name is the Officialz derived from sports in general. We were just sitting around and looking at other artists. All they had on were jersey''s and tennis shows with flashy jewelry. So, we decided to do our group as an officialz group with unity and dignity. We heard most adults talk about rap as something bad. Our attempt is to promote something good with the lyrics of our songs. We are new at this but that doesn''t change our dedication to it. We love to listen to rap and we love to rap. We listened to Tupak, TI, Will Smith, 50 cents, Emenin, Biggy Smalls, JayZ, Luda, and a host of others. By listening to a variety of artists, we attempted to come up with our own style. We are not hard core or funny but a mixture of both. We are smoothe and our lyrics make since. The first album is just the begining of a life long committment to this type of music. We can sing and dance. Our shows are off the hook. We just need an arena to get this party started. We intend to party for a long time. So, jump aboard this never ending committment to fun and goodtimes. Let''s face it. We live and then we die. So,lets live; and while living love yourself,each other and our music.
