Love is what makes us tick. Without it, life would be quite boring. There are times that I sit and think of ways to not write a song about love, but I''ve never been quite happy enough with the outcome. So, this album contains 4 songs...about love. The title track, "West Lake" was inspired by my journey to HangZhou with a lovely girl whom this song was written for. The other tracks are different sorts of love songs, written over the past 4 years...one for my God, another for the love we think we can never find, and finally a love lost. Alas, love comes in all forms. It''s painful. It''s glorious. It''s enthralling. It''s normal. It''s strange. And it''s what this album is about.
